This week the markets did something they haven’t done since the first week of October. It was somewhat of a return to normalcy as neither week had a daily move of more than one percent. The other “positive” point is that 5 of the last 6 days the markets have been “positive”, with the only loss being just 0.1 percent on Friday when the S&P 500 closed at 2596. For TSP TIPS, we have seen an improvement in equity fund (C/S/I) performance rankings combined with an initial moving average “Buy” signal. As such, we’re recommending putting our toes back in the equity fund waters with an allocation of 25 percent, maintaining our F fund allocation and keeping the remainder in the G fund.
