S&P 500 rose 1.5% for the week despite minor Friday decline showing market resilience
Equity funds C, S, and I now rank as top three performers suggesting strong momentum
Friday's limited selling despite weakness indicates potential continued upward trend
The S&P 500 closed the week at 2080, up nearly 1.5 percent. Although the S&P 500 was down slightly on Friday, it was encouraging that it did not sell off. Also, the performance rankings of the equity funds (C/S/I) now rank in the top three positions. As such, we’re recommending a 20 percent allocation increase in those funds.
