C and S funds showing strength above key moving averages, suggesting continued momentum
Fed meeting and North Korea summit next week could create market volatility
The S&P 500 closed at its highest level in three months at 2779 Friday. The hot topic was trade tension this week, but economic and earnings growth were the market movers. The Fed meeting and summit scheduled with North Korea land next week, as well as CPI. For TSP TIPS, the C and S funds strengthen with good performance rankings and their price stays above their 50 and 200 day moving averages. As such, we are recommending a slight equity fund reallocation from the I to the C fund.
